Comments: The Honda CRF450R always had plenty of power, and for 2009 its increased power is even easier to use thanks to a new battery-less PGM-FI system. A revised cylinder head, a lighter camshaft, a shorter connecting rod and piston, a narrower transmission and other changes all add up to an engine that revs higher and is both lighter and more compact. An all-new fifth-generation aluminum frame positions the engine lower and forward for better control under hard acceleration and improved overall balance.
